Chapter 2: Neoplasms (C00-D49)

One of the most significant updates is in Chapter 2, which covers neoplasms. Several new codes have been added to specify various types of neoplasms in remission. For example, under C81 Hodgkin Lymphoma, there are now codes like C81.0A-C81.9A to indicate the disease is in remission.

Chapter 4: Endocrine, Nutritional, and Metabolic Diseases (E00-E89)

New codes have been introduced for conditions such as Type 1 diabetes mellitus (E10.A-), hypoglycemia levels (E16.A-), and obesity class (E66.811-E66.813). These additions help in more accurately diagnosing and treating these conditions.

Chapter 5: Mental and Behavioral Disorders (F01-F99)

New codes for conditions such as serotonin syndrome (G90.81) and developmental and epileptic encephalopathy (G93.45) have been added. These changes will help healthcare providers better identify and manage these complex conditions.

Chapter 9: Diseases of the Circulatory System (I00-I99)
